Guidelines

Code of Conduct

All participants must adhere to the hackathon's code of conduct, promoting a supportive and inclusive environment free from harassment, discrimination, or any form of misconduct.

Participant Conduct

All participants are expected to adhere to the code of conduct outlined for the hackathon. Respectful and professional behavior towards fellow participants, mentors, judges, and organizers is mandatory.

Judging Criteria

Teams will be evaluated based on predefined criteria, including clarity of problem statement, innovativeness of solution, feasibility, impact, technical soundness, presentation quality, team collaboration, scalability, sustainability, and market potential.

Project Scope

Projects should focus on developing solutions related to desalination and addressing water scarcity. Teams are encouraged to be innovative and creative in their approach while ensuring feasibility and relevance to real-world challenges.

Intellectual Property and Confidentiality

Participants retain ownership of their intellectual property rights; however, by participating in the hackathon, they grant the organizing committee the right to use their submitted materials for promotional, commercial, and educational purposes. Confidentiality of sensitive information shared during the event should be respected.

Intellectual Property Rights

Participants are responsible for ensuring that their solutions do not infringe upon any intellectual property rights of third parties. Any use of copyrighted material must be appropriately attributed.
